Giving FAQ

  • Yes, Equipt is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations to Equipt and any of our partner ministries are tax-deductible as defined by the IRS.

  • Equipt is an organization which provides financial and operational services to church plants, missionaries and other ministry organizations. We help alleviate the burden of our partners needing to hire multiple individuals or firms to handle services like payroll, insurance, donation management, etc.

  • There are no processing fees associated with donation by check. Our online donor management system charges a $ .30 fee for an ACH donation and 2.15% plus $ .30 for a credit card donation. 

  • Yes, when donating online, you are given the choice to cover the donation processing fee.

  • Checks may be made payable to Equipt, Inc., with the ministry’s name on the memo line, unless directed otherwise.

  • If you provide an email address, you will automatically receive a receipt via email each time a donation is processed (check, ACH or credit card).

  • Yes, Equipt is able to receive stock donations. Our LOI for stock donations may be requested from info@equiptteam.org

  • Equipt partners pay an industry-low 5% of donations to receive the various services that Equipt provides. So, 95% of your donation goes directly to your chosen ministry. 

  • Our partners use a web-based program which syncs with our donor management system. Partners can see donations within 24 hours of processing. 

      

  • All donors with an email address in our system receive a year-end giving statement in January of each new year. Donors with no email address in the system will receive a mailed statement.
