Our Timeline

  • Stage 1: Assessing

    MONTH 1

    The planter or missionary works with Equipt to determine if an Equipt partnership is a good fit. If approved, the planter or missionary is onboarded as an Equipt employee. If applicable, a DBA is established for the ministry.

  • Stage 2: Developing

    3-12 MONTHS

    The planter or missionary is in a ministry development phase. Equipt provides full operational support as noted in Our Services section.

    During this stage, the partner is actively involved in ministry buildout, strategic planning, and fundraising.

  • Stage 3: Operating

    YEARS 2-3

    The planter or missionary is fully operational and incoming funds support ministry expenses, including payroll. Equipt continues to provide all operational support for the ministry.

    A church planter often follows this 2-3 year track. However, a missionary might stay in this stage for the duration.

  • Stage 4: Transitioning

    YEARS >2-3

    When the planter or missionary is approximately 6 months out from transitioning away from Equipt, Equipt and the planter or missionary work together to establish all legal business requirements needed for ministry setup while continuing all services.

FAQ

  • Equipt provides financial and operational services to help alleviate administrative burdens for church plants, missionaries and other small ministry organizations

  • Equipt partners pay an industry-low 5% of donations, with a $100 to $200 monthly minimum, to receive the financial and operational services that Equipt provides. Partners may also expect a few small ministry costs of around $10-20 month. 

  • Equipt partners with a variety of organizations and individuals who benefit from our services. This includes new church plants throughout the US as well as other missionaries and ministry groups who are just beginning the work to which God has called them.  

  • Equipt has partners all over the United States. We are able to partner with individuals and organizations doing international ministry work as long as the partner holds U.S. citizenship.
