Nunzia Salvini
SALERNO, ITALY
Nunzia Salvini is a Salerno native. She was called to be one of the caregivers of her people and Nuova Vita. Until 2016, Nunzia claimed to be an active Catholic. She taught Catholic Catechism for years and taught the local youth things about Christ which were rooted in tradition rather than in truth. But God started pursuing her through missionaries and pastors and Christian friends. During a two-year internship, Nunzia was given the opportunity to learn how to disciple other women, to lead the women’s ministry in the church, and to study theology while supporting the student ministry on the university campus of Salerno. Today she is a leading missionary at Nuova Vita Church.
If you share Nunzia’s mission to make disciples in Southwest Italy, please partner with her through prayer and giving.

NUOVA VITA
The mission of Nuova Vita is to glorify God as they make disciples who live transformed lives of worship, and who seek to represent the Gospel to every man, woman and child. Located on the Southwest coast of Italy in the town of Salerno, local leaders have adopted this church plant to show their fellow Italians the love of Christ.
Much like the rest of Italy, Salerno has had a long history of Catholic tradition and is therefore a very challenging spiritual climate to spread the Gospel. In Italy, there is only 1% confessing Evangelical Christians, and within that 1%, it is difficult to find truly Gospel-centered churches. Nuova Vita was found in 2012 by American missionaries but turned over to native Italian leadership. Nuova Vita has since become a thriving church plant.
