After more than 45 years in ministry and the workplace, Doug has learned how important faithful, godly, developmental leadership is to any endeavor, especially Kingdom endeavors. Whether it’s the local church, global missions, education, or a business venture, Biblical leadership and a healthy leadership team make all the difference. 

But leadership is difficult even in the best of times. 

Christian leadership demands sacrifice, servanthood, and a developmental mindset in order to effectively move people forward. Leadership, however, doesn't just happen. It takes time and intentionality. 

Developing leaders also takes the wisdom of those who have gone before.

For this reason, Doug launched M2R — Moving to the Right Ministries — to serve Christian leaders and aspiring  leaders who desire to intentionally develop people and teams around them. 

Our mission:

Elevate a generation of faithful, godly, developmentally minded leaders

 for the church, missions, and the workplace. 

M2R Ministries provides highly relational coaching, in both individual and cohort-based sessions, focused on: 

• Word Work - establishing Biblical foundations for the why, how, and what we do 

• People Work -  nurturing a developmental mindset for work and ministry that impacts people

• Program Work - providing tools and resources to assist leaders in building up people

The Apostle Paul’s words shaped Doug’s heart as well his “toil” and” struggle” in partnership with Christian leaders:

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, 

that we may present everyone mature in Christ. 

For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.

(Colossians 1:28-29, ESV)
