The Transform and Train Institute
The Transform and Train Institute exists to leave a gospel footprint in the 23504 zip code of Norfolk, Virginia, and beyond by cultivating transformation. This vision is accomplished through mentorship, coaching, biblical studies, and theological training for contemporary ministry.
Charles Shannon serves as the Executive Director and a Missionary Mentor for the Institute. Charles also serves as the lead pastor of Mission Church, a role he has held since 2016. He and his wife live in Norfolk with their five young children. Under Charles’ leadership, the Transform and Train Institute achieves its mission through bi-monthly seminars, weekly neighborhood bible studies, a Monday evening chapel, and weekly mentorship and coaching.
